May 28, 2025 - it is pleased to announce that Duferco International Trading Holding (DITH), a Swiss multinational leader in global steel and metals trading, distribution, and processing, has acquired 80% of Marcora S.p.A., an historic Italian company specialising in the processing and distribution of flat rolled steel products, with a particular focus on the household appliances sector.

This transaction marks the completion of a journey that began in 2021, when DITH acquired a 20% stake in Marcora. With the acquisition of the remaining shares, Marcora and its employees are a welcome addition to the DITH group.

This acquisition represents a strategic step to consolidate DITH's presence in the European market and enhances the range of steel value-added products.
